WHO CAN ENTER: This contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years old or older except the employees of the Beaufort Hotel and members of their immediate families.

HOW TO ENTER: Individuals must subscribe to the Beaufort Hotel mailing list.

DEADLINES AND ENTRIES: Entries must be submitted by February 10, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. The Promoter reserves the right to contact the entrants.

RESTRICTIONS: Open only to legal U.S. residents (including its territories and the District of Columbia) who are at least 21 years old. Employees of the Promoter, the Sponsor, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win. Subject to all federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. No purchase necessary.

No cash value. Once a winner has been selected, he or she has two business days to contact the Promoter with his or her information.

The prize package expires on February 10, 2024. Accommodations are based on availability at the time of reservation.

WINNER: At the conclusion of the entry period, a winner will be selected at random from all of the eligible entrants. There will be one winner. The selection will be final and binding in all respects. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by email. Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and agree that if the winner fails to provide proof of identity, fails to provide required affidavit, is found to have violated the Official Rules, or otherwise does not meet eligibility criteria, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Automated entry/voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated entry/voting will lead to the entry being voided. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release the Promoter, and any parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies, from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property that may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

NO TRANSFERS: No transfers, substitutions in prizes, or cash will be allowed except by the Promoter, which may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The Promoter will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, vouchers, certificates, or other prize items once they are in the winner’s possession.

PRIZE CONDITIONS: The winner must comply with all instructions and restrictions listed here or in the prize-notification communication, including the completion of an affidavit and liability/publicity release, and return them within two days of the date on the prize notification letter; otherwise, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

TAXES: Liability for any applicable taxes associated with the prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner. Any required tax-reporting forms will be furnished to the Internal Revenue Service. All expenses not specifically provided for by the Promoter in these rules are the sole responsibility of the winner. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. The Promoter and Sponsor reserve the right to withhold the prizes until the completed form W-9 is received.

PRIVACY POLICY AND TERMS OF USE: When you register, the Promoter collects personally identifying information about you, including your name and email address. The information that you provide will be added to a centralized Beaufort Hotel email database and will be shared with the Sponsor as you so indicate.
