Rachel Carson Ballroom
Divisible into four sections, the Rachel Carson Ballroom is the premier meeting space in Carteret County with 4,378 square feet of function space. It accommodates 400 people for a seated dinner or standup receptions for 500. This stylish ballroom can host business meetings with 228 attendees in a classroom-style setting and 480 theatre style.
Horse Island, Bird Schoal, Carrot Island & Town Marsh
Appropriately named after the marshes on Rachel Carson Reserve – Horse Island, Bird Schoal, Carrot Island, and Town Marsh – are the names of each of the four salons of the grand ballroom. Each individual salon offers 1,095 square feet of dining space for 72 people and 112 for receptions.
Just outside the Rachel Carson Ballroom is 2,850 square feet of flexible function space for receptions up to 140 people.
The Board Room
The Board Room with natural light can accommodate up to 10 people.
Located on the banks of Taylor’s Creek, the Outdoor Pavilion offers over 1,100 square feet of function space with beautiful views of Rachel Carson Reserve, home to over 30 wild horses. This venue provides one-of-a-kind opportunities for meetings, receptions, weddings, ceremonies, dinners, corporate networking, and team building. Ideal for receptions up to 110 people and seated events for 90.
With views of Rachel Carson Reserve and Taylor’s Creek, the Shackleford Room offers an abundance of natural sunlight. This room is ideal for hosting private corporate dinners and breakout space for up to 50 people and receptions for 100. The room has a private entrance to the outdoor patio.
Located on the second floor of The BoatHouse at Front Street Village, the Marlin room offers 1,080 square feet of event space and can accommodate 80 people for a seated event and receptions for 140.Guests can walk out on the Lookout Deck and see some incredible water views.
