Executive Chef Luca Annunziata, Food Network’s Chopped Champion, is coming to the Beaufort Hotel.
Guest Chef Luca Annunziata of Charlotte has teamed up with our own Executive Chef Christopher Lopez of 34° North Restaurant to create a special Italian wine dinner for the 16th Annual Beaufort Wine & Food Weekend.
Food Network’s Chopped is a reality television chef’s competition, four chefs compete against each other in creating a three-course meal including one appetizer, one entrée and one dessert.
Executive Chef Luca joined Caffe Siena, an award-winning, casual fine-dining establishment in Uptown Charlotte, where he has worked while crafting his vision for forchetta.

Talent from around the world descends on Beaufort as guest chefs are paired up with some of the Crystal Coast’s best restaurants for an unforgettable experience – All in the name of charity!
The festival combines the public’s appreciation for wine and food with its drive to support worthy local organizations, and has positioned itself as one of the area’s premier tourism events. Beaufort Wine and Food’s single largest event is the Vin de Mer Epicurean Village! Guests are immersed in a controlled chaos where 300 wine labels and dozens of local and regional restaurants come together in perfect harmony.
Cooking demonstrations take place throughout the event. From wine tastings to wine dinners, multiple events take place over five days. The 16th Annual Beaufort Wine & Food Weekend returns April 27 – May 1, 2022.

WHO CAN ENTER: This contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 21 years old or older except the employees of the Beaufort Hotel and members of their immediate families.

DEADLINES AND ENTRIES: Entries must be submitted by April 18, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. The Promoter reserves the right to contact the entrants.

RESTRICTIONS: Open only to legal U.S. residents (including its territories and the District of Columbia) who are at least 21 years old. Employees of the Promoter, the Sponsor, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win. Subject to all federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. No purchase necessary.
No cash value. Once a winner has been selected, he or she has two business days to contact the Promoter with his or her information.
The prize package expires on April 28, 2022. Accommodations are based on availability at the time of reservation.
WINNER: At the conclusion of the entry period, a winner will be selected at random from all of the eligible entrants. There will be one winner. The selection will be final and binding in all respects. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The winner will be notified on Facebook or Instagram. . Entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and agree that if the winner fails to provide proof of identity, fails to provide required affidavit, is found to have violated the Official Rules, or otherwise does not meet eligibility criteria, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Automated entry/voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated entry/voting will lead to the entry being voided. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release the Promoter, and any parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies, from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property that may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
NO TRANSFERS: No transfers, substitutions in prizes, or cash will be allowed except by the Promoter, which may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The Promoter will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, vouchers, certificates, or other prize items once they are in the winner’s possession.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: The winner must comply with all instructions and restrictions listed here or in the prize-notification communication, including the completion of an affidavit and liability/publicity release, and return them within two days of the date on the prize notification letter; otherwise, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
TAXES: Liability for any applicable taxes associated with the prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner. Any required tax-reporting forms will be furnished to the
Internal Revenue Service. All expenses not specifically provided for by the Promoter in these rules are the sole responsibility of the winner. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. The Promoter and Sponsor reserve the right to withhold the prizes until the completed form W-9 is received.
