Weekend Brunch at the Beaufort Hotel is about to get a whole lot cuter with their Puppy Brunch. The restaurant will feature a special menu on the outdoor patio at 34° North Restaurant with canine canapés, themed cocktails, and more. Guests are encouraged to enjoy a tail-wagging good time, all in the name of charity. It all benefits Misplaced Mutts in Carteret County.

The hotel will be encouraging pets and people to dine on dishes for both humans and their four-legged friends.

The culinary team at 34° North Restaurant will feature their regular à la carte Weekend Brunch menu on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 am - 3 pm.

Dogs can enjoy chef-made Canine Canapés’ including:

  • Wish-bone Broth – made from beef bones, tomato paste, celery, carrot.
  • Sit, Stay, Snack! – Biscuits provided by our friends at Beaufort Pet Provisions.
  • Grouper Cake – grouper, cream cheese, parsley, panko.
  • Nutter Butter Pup Cup – house-made peanut butter ice cream with nutter butter crumble.

The Beaufort Hotel has partnered with Tito’s Handmade Vodka to offer a few outrageous 'Human Cocktails'. Tito’s Handmade Vodka will donate to assist the four-legged friends at Misplaced Mutts in Carteret County. For every Tito's Handmade Vodka cocktail sold from May 15 – October 31, Tito's will donate $1 to Misplaced Mutts up to $2,500.

To ensure happy pets and happy pet owners, the hotel is asking guests to:

  • Understand that Puppy Brunch is weather dependent, and pets are not permitted inside the restaurant.
  • Ensure canine friends stay leashed and remain at your table to avoid tripping hazards.
  • Clean up after your furry friends.
  • Respect the space of other guests by making sure your dog is well-behaved and not disruptive.
  • No Table Surfing so resist those puppy eyes and don't feed your dog from the table.

Important - Puppy Brunch is weather dependent! If it rains, and guests do not wish to sit outside in the rain with your pet, please remember that pets are not permitted in the restaurant. Guests are welcome to come to brunch and bring them next time the weather is good.

Misplaced Mutts have been saving dogs and finding them forever homes for many years; however, Misplaced Mutts officially became a 501C(c)(3) organization in January of 2017. Since becoming a non-profit in 2017, Misplaced Mutts has adopted out over 3,000 animals.
